I am sharing these photos because of the true joy they bring to me. They testify to me everyday that God is aware of us and works miracles in our behalf, even if we don't know he is doing it.
Laura and Stuart were married 7 years and had given up on having children when Laura came down with the "flu". Best flu any one ever came down with. =) We tease them that 7 in the Lord's time signifies perfection and they had to wait for such a perfect little sweetheart.
Autumn Olivia was born on the 18th of December. The 18th is a date that is shared by several family members including her father, 2 aunts and an uncle, they just take place in a different month. Her birth has tied us even closer together.
She is such a joy to us. -

Mustache Monday! — with Krista Carlson Waggoner. -

There's nothing like returning to where I grew up and spending time on the beach (because now all I see is desert).....and being able to spend time on the beach with family and watching the kids play together

This was the last exhibit my dad worked on at the So before he died. The flamingos will always have a special place in my heart for them

Couldn't choose between the three, so I just put them together....I choose the picture of my scriptures because it reminds me of seminary and the importance of the church is to my life. Then a picture of my best-friend and I at the temple to that I'm proud to be worthy to enter and I can't wait to get married there someday! Last but not least a picture of the beauty of the earth in which I live, this picture is especially important to me, for I took it while it was raining, which is my absolute favorite!!! -

This picture means so much to me. I had sprained my ankle in a volleyball game right before our Senior night. Every game after I sprained my ankle, my team said that I should walk out first and then they'll run out and form a circle around me and be yelling so I could still feel important and part of the team. Good things in life? Having an amazing team. We were like a family. -
"Getting Lost In A Good Book"
Human beings talented in the arts of reading absolutely "love" getting lost in a good book every once in a while. It brings a light of life, changing perspective and allowing the imagination to fly far higher than we ever thought possible. Books inspire living to your fullest and not giving up no matter where the journey takes you. Characters that we often read about within our novels cause one to reflect upon their own person endeavors. Many times these observations bring about strength, integrity, peace of mind and above all, a chance to breath in deep and to achieve a sense of relaxation in knowing that every individual character in life has a story to tell. We simply need to acquire listening ears, the patience to hear and a pair of good eyes to read.

My baby has been wearing his halloween costume all month and I get to cuddle with the snuggliest lion around!

For my "Good thing" I chose a picture of Gray with a lady bug. One of the good things in my life is the opportunity I have to teach and help kids discover the world. The simple things bring them so much joy. I am thankful for the opportunity and reminder that kids give me of the excitement little things bring.

Happiness is old fashion fun... who needs video games when the neighbors emptying the pool can provide hours of fun racing popscicle stick boats or simply watching the water and how it works -

what made me cry with happiness as a mom, was the 16 year old boy who would dress up as an elf to deliver a Christmas bin of joy to a family suffering of cancer. He didn't just drop it off, he was a Christmas angel, and he stayed and talked to the man who was home alone Christmas eve because he couldn't go with him family to the family celebration. an anonymous, random act of kindness, and a young man not too proud to wear the elf suit :) very happy memory -
